BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, U.S.A., Aug. 22, 2006 - In its partnership with Taylor & Francis, EBSCO is pleased to offer more than 30 Taylor & Francis eBook packages to its global customer base. These include 10 eCollections, 24 Bestsellers by Subject and a customization option where the library can select from the more than 15,000 Taylor & Francis eBook titles available. The eCollections, focused in the areas of social sciences and humanities, are sourced from the highly-regarded publishing heritage of imprints such as Routledge, RoutledgeFalmer and Taylor & Francis. They are available in the subject-specific areas of: business and management, economics, education, geography, history, literature, philosophy, politics and international relations, sociology and religion. Taylor & Francis Bestsellers by Subject represent 24 subject-specific areas, consisting of the top 100 titles in that subject. Libraries ordering 50 eBooks or more can also take advantage of the customization option. Taylor & Francis eBooks offer library patrons search results that are clearly identified and hyperlinked, immediate access from any desktop via IP authentication or username and password and the ability to search terms across a broad range of titles and thousands of chapters. Additional benefits include the ability for end users to make and save their own annotations, highlights and bookmarks, as well as create their own Research Books, saving up to the value of 100 pages per year from across the subscribed resource. Each Taylor & Francis title can be viewed simultaneously by five users, and an online reservation system is provided in the event a patron is unable to access a title. End users can print or copy up to five percent of any title within the subscription. MARC records are provided free of charge, and COUNTER-compliant usage statistics are also provided. "Taylor & Francis eBooks offer libraries a depth of material from which to choose the package that best meets the research demands of their patrons.
