EBSCO Publishing Redesigns Searchasaurus™ Interface Design & Functionality Heightens User Experience for Young Researchers IPSWICH, Mass. — January 19, 2007 - EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) is pleased to announce the release of the redesigned Searchasaurus™ interface. Since its inception nearly ten years ago, Searchasaurus has been offering an age-appropriate research environment for use in elementary schools and children’s rooms in public libraries. The newly revised interface builds upon the greatest attributes of the original version while incorporating fresh new ideas including those offered by EBSCO’s customers, advisory boards and software council. The revised Searchasaurus, with its enhanced graphical design and brighter colors, is sure to not only grab the attention of its user base, but also provide an intuitive search experience for its intended audience. Searchasaurus supports popular children’s databases from EBSCO including Primary Search™, Middle Search® Plus and the Encyclopedia of Animals™. Content comprising these databases includes the most-used children’s magazines, encyclopedias, books, images, photos, maps, flags, and more. Search results offer a wonderful combination of text and graphics for students to gain the most benefit from each record retrieved through Searchasaurus.
