EBSCO Publishing will soon release Hospitality & Tourism Index™, a bibliographic database covering scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism.

This comprehensive database will contain over 100,000 records from the Lodging, Restaurant & Tourism Index (LRTI), a quarterly compilation of more than 60 hospitality and tourism trade periodicals and research journals, formerly produced by Purdue University. Additionally, EBSCO plans to increase the coverage of relevant, well-respected periodical literature -- the new database will contain indexing and abstracts of articles from over 100 carefully selected scholarly journals and industry trade publications, dating back to the 1980's and earlier, and a new thesaurus to aid searching.

Subject areas covered will include company rankings, development & investment, food and beverage management, hospitality law, hotel management, leisure and business travel, management practices, market trends, technology trends and many more.
