(This list was selected for its compatibility to other school library lists.) Prices were compared from January 2002 to January 2006 and reflect the actual annual subscription rates paid for titles in the sample.

As you can see from the chart, the average price for a title in the representative list for 2006 was $67.24. This represents a 4.28 percent increase over 2005. Over the last five years, the average price for a title in the representative list has increased a total of 15.39 percent.
