EBSCO Information Services - Academic Division

EBSCO is built on the foundation of providing excellent service to customers by understanding and responding to their needs. Our Academic Division was developed to identify and meet the specialized requirements of academic and research libraries. Under the guidance of Vice President and Academic Division Director Kathleen Born, M.L.S., division personnel stay abreast of the issues, concerns and needs of academic librarians. Among other activities, the division organizes seminars and forums with information professionals to develop solutions to specific issues faced by academic and research libraries.

EBSCO's Academic Division and Regional Office personnel are active in a number of national library-related organizations and their local chapters including the American Library Association (ALA), Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), Special Libraries Association (SLA), Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA), Library and Information Technology Association (LITA) and North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG). Employees in EBSCO's international offices are active in their local library and information-related organizations also. EBSCO personnel are often called upon to speak at library conferences and to contribute to library and information industry publications.

EBSCO provides local service with global support. We can handle all your information needs - print subscriptions, databases, electronic journals and books - from any of our 32 offices located around the world.
